Halloween Disclaimer

Here is Fenix, Erianna, Sierra, and Cheyanne. And, my personal favorite, ME! Now who could turn me down for candy?





I must admit to all of you that we do Trick or Treat on Halloween. You see, as a child I was never allowed to dress up or Trick or Treat. We would turn all the lights off in our house, cover the windows with blankets, and watch tv, hoping no one would come trick or treating at our house. So when I had children, I was really ready to Trick or Treat. Our children know the history of Halloween, and what Halloween means to some people, but for us it is a night to go to church and to visit our family and friends to get free candy. Usually we get enough candy to last pretty well until Christmas. Last night, because Halloween fell on a Wednesday, the kids went on to AWANAS (their Wednesday church program) and I trick or treated for them. I did get some strange looks but I was very polite for all the candy I received. So today's joy tip is:

I AM JOYFULL AS I MAKE FUN MEMORIES WITH MY CHILDREN.
