Tonight I was described by friends as "creative", "energetic", "a Proverbs 31 Woman", "joyful." Wow! I don't picture myself that way. I would more describe my self as "creatively out there" meaning I have great ideas but lack the skills to do them well. Not energetic, driven by caffine and sugar. Maybe an aspiring Proverbs 31 woman. Joyful? Well, as you can tell by my blog, I'm in pursuit of it. But it blessed my heart to hear my friends describe me that way, my friends who know all of my shortcomings, and to have my hubby hear others describe me that way. (He's probably thinking how well I have everyone fooled =>) No, all jokes aside, thank you ladies for helping me to see a better picture of myself than what I see. We look down on ourselves, and in doing so, discredit God for how he made us and is continuing to make us. Thank you Lord, for providing others to show us how You look on us. Amen!
